Our second week of the Design Thinking in Healthcare Innovation online course started with the topic – Empathize and Identify.
Sini Koivisto from Teho-opisto gave an interesting lecture and shared a designer’s view on Design Thinking through amazing case examples. The topic sparked a lot of discussion and the students got to see how Design Thinking can be used to create something new and innovative that increases happiness as well as delivers value to the customer.
Beate Rygg Johnsen (DLN), Annika Nordberg (UTU) and Danijela Simonovic (UiT) from the GREAT network moderated the seminar’s Design Thinking exercises. The students were able to deepen their skills in empathizing, defining and observation.
During this course students continued to work in their multidisciplinary teams to solve real-life clinical problems by utilizing the five phases of Design Thinking process.
We are looking forward for another exciting learning session next week!
